The solution
Highlight’s management team already knew that they were experiencing a few business pains with inefficiency in cross-departmental processes and the communication between teams. These two issues were compromising their growth.
Unlike other business-support agencies, Liberty Spark supports companies across the entire decision-making cycle: from education to application.
Using Spark, they ran a series of live process mapping workshops to capture current ways of working.
Spark can map process at the speed of talking. This allows teams to focus on the work they do and how it can be improve. For example, how handovers from one team to the next are performed, how projects are planned and executed and cross departmental communication.
The Management Team wanted to ensure they took on board their team members’ opinions.
They organised a trial workshop with the main people that would be making decisions and potentially using Liberty Spark. The team loved Spark’s hands-on workshop approach. They also liked its adaptability and practicality – it was the perfect tool to apply what they’d learned in the workshops.
They also liked being able to outsource ongoing service management to Spark, leaving them free to focus their skills in developing the business and hitting growth targets.
Processes are published in Spark’s web app and shared with the team. This allows them to comment and make improvement suggestions.
This means they can execute the process, test the new designs and then feedback the results to the rest of the team.
Highlight was able to make changes – and enjoy the benefits of the improvements – within two months.
